The big move!

For quite some time now I wanted a second blog for more mindless things like movies, videogames, figures, toys, comics, my collections and so on. I finally decided!

Mindless stuff and my bragging about how my pony collection is bigger than yours and how your taste in movies suck will be found here. The "Winchester" is from one of my all time favourite movies "Shaun of the Dead". It's the beloved bar the main characters want to take refuge from the masses of zombies. So this blog will be my refuge, a place were I can do whatever I want :p

I already imported all the old posts. The design is still very basic...I hope I can change it soon to something more original ^^

Bookmark

Yay~ it already arrived!
I made this cardstock bookmark and a matching bookthong for the bookmark swap round 5 at craftster.org. At first I was at a loss what to make because I didn't know the books she mentioned, but after some stalking I got a few ideas =)




I crocheted the cupcake with a 0.6 hook and sewing yarn. I had to redo parts of it three times because I just couldn't get the pattern right ^^;

Well...I had fun making them =)

My little furball had to go home to her real owner D= We had her for 4 months with us... She is gone for only 2 hours now and I already miss her ;___;

Totoro Pop-up Card

I did this "My Neighbor Totoro" (a very cute animated movie by Studio Ghibli everyone should see ;) ) Pop-up card a few days ago just for fun. This kind of pop-up card is very easy to do, but looks pretty neat =D

Hiatus

I got horrible news last week which made me go on a hiatus. This news affects my life deeply and it took me a week to get over the first shock. I was too devastated to even think about crafting or drawing... and now I feel like I need the time to mourn... for myself and also to show respect.

I don't know how long I can go without...but I just don't want to create something and regret it afterwards.

Other than that I'm fine, I guess. I really don't know where I picked up so much positive energy ...maybe I just don't want to give up and keep believing in good.

I actually wanted to DO something today but like everyone else at the moment I caught a cold and spent the day sleeping and feeling sorry for myself. Pity meee~

To make myself feel better I thought about sharing some more photos of my cat. She is the best cat in the world <3

Queen Isis

Still working on some Videogame ATCs...I want to send them asap! I messed up the first version though and have to redo two of them >__<

Since I don't have any crafty things to share I thought I introduce the new queen of our house. I posted photos of Isis before, but she is living with us for a month now. We love her dearly but the reason she lives with us is a very sad one.
My grandpa who loved her so much passed away and a few days later my grandma got in an accident and broke her hip. It was a big shock for all of us.

Whenever we were at my grandparents place my grandpa was sitting on the couch, Isis besides him often her head resting in his palm. He always called her "my girl" and said what a wonderful cat she is.

Hmm...I just wanted to share cute cat photos and now I got all sad again ):





She is sooo lazy, but she loves playing with the amigurumi jelly-fish.

Poor thing can't go outside anymore. At my grandmas place she has a nice garden and here she can only look out the window.
