Monster High - Venus McFlytrap and Robecca Steam
Last week I bought these two beauties. I wanted them for months, but never got around buying them since I didn't want to spend more than 20 Euro for a Monster High doll. The other problem was that Venus was sold out everywhere.
So, I'm more than happy that I got both of them at a toy store for 30 Euro. I just couldn't pass this deal :P
Front view and back view of the boxes.
I love Venus punkish design especially the half shaved haircut :3 The pink and green color combination looks great, too!
Robecca spots the steam punk style (even her eyes look like gears!) that was so very in the last few years. The copper, black and dark blue colors make her look very classy.
Wow...I never thought I'd own so many Monster High dolls...I have already six, even htough I didn't want to collect them at first. It's really hard to resist them ;)

Mini Smorkin Labbit Blind Box
To be honest... I really thought they were much bigger. But it's my fault that I'm used to prizes for normal toys blind bags/boxes. As it reads on this box. 'This is art, not a toy' and 'For ages 15 and up'. ;)
My favourite one is the one with the dots I think. The one with the knife in its back is neat, too.
Thanks for looking :)

Videogame bootlegs
The fascinating world of videogame bootlegs. I thought I share the ones I own and talk a bit about them.
There are lots of these 80 in 1 (100 in 1, 10 in 1...) type of cards. Here is one for the Nintendo Entertainment system. Rather than 100 of games they usually feature 6 games, the other games being 'variations' of those games (though there really aren't any differences you can notice). Usually those games are other old NES games from the earlier days of the system when the games were still small in size (like Mario Bros). Sadly I couldn't get this one to work.
Game Boy and Game Boy Advance bootlegs are easy to come across. This 36 in 1 GBA card includes the GB games Wario Blast feat. Bomberman (here names Mario Word in the title screen), Super Mario Land (Mario Land), Dr. Mario, Tennis, Alleyway, Mario & Yoshi aka Yoshi no tamago and Mr. Do!
Actually all worthwhile games in one cartridge.
The 4 in 1 doesn't seem to work anymore... so I can't say which games are on it.
Pokemon Jade Edition is another type of bootleg. It's a full a 'translation' of a GBC game that was never released outside Japan named Keitai Denjû Telefang. It has no connection to Pokemon besides it's game style that is collecting and training monsters. The bootlegers just slapped an ugly title screen at the start... and well the translation really isn't a real one but just babelfish applied. So it's pretty useless. The german here doesn't make sense at all.
The last type of bootleg is the worst kind to come across. Here you can see a bootleg of the great GBA game Castlevania - Aria of Sorrows. Besides the missing manual it looks pretty legit from distance. Only when you hold it up closes you can see that the logo and back of the box is blurry and a bit pixelated. Oh... and the save feature of the game doesn't work. If you just saw it on ebay or something you most likely wouldn't notice.
The best way to spot boolegs is that they don't have a screw on the back of the cartridge. Original games alsway have them!

Megahouse Miniature - Dachshounds Coffeeshop (2007)
Today this set I got really cheap on ebay arrived! It's by Megahouse who do re-ment style miniatures. Here we have everything for a dog themed little coffee-shop. Its's japanese name is ダックス店長のコーヒー屋さん ( shopowner dachs(hounds) coffeeshop).
These are all 8 parts of the set. So cute! Here you can see how very small the different parts are.
Sorry, there are still all wrapped up.
Just look at all the small details <3 p="p">
Sorry, this is just a really quick look. I hope you still enjoy the pictures :)3>

Bratzillaz - Sashabella Paws & Fluffinscruff
For some of us comes the time when we get toys again for christmas ;P
We all know that Monster High is totally 'in' at the moment and of course other companies want to have a slice of the cake, too. I never liked Bratz dolls, but I have to confess that I really liked the look of the Bratzillaz line when I first saw them.
They are not Monsters but witches... kind of like a crazy version of Hogwarts ;)
The clothes are of good quality and the body is articulated like the Monster High dolls plus articulation at the torso. Besides the big head, the proportions are more normal (well... for a doll). Even though the Bratzillaz are not so thin as their Monster counterparts, they feel kind of flimsy when you hold them and overall you just get better poses out of the Monster High dolls. They come with a doll stand, too. It feels cheaper, but it does its job.
The eyes and eye make-up on the other hand is gorgeous and really is the best part about these dolls.
The biggest problem I have is the hair. It feels very low quality and is pre-cut very badly. I only put the doll out of the box and the hair was already frizzy. :/
All of the witches have a "pet" associated with them. After all... more stuff for parents to buy. So here is Fluffinscruff ;)
He really has a low creepy growl you can hear when you press the button. Well.. I kinda like him... it's a really cute design.
Thanks for looking!
