Okay, let's start with something special! An old store closed in the town I live and they were selling off everything they still had stored away. And really...they had stuff from the friggin' 80s! Anyways I was browsing through the shelves when suddenly... I saw a boxed My Little Pony!!! I LOVED MLP when I was a child and I still have all the ones I had as a child. I was never lucky to find them at flea markets, so this one at the store was like finding the holy grail :D It was also super cheap, even cheaper than the price you can see on the box.
Well, that's the box. The colors are very, very faded and the clear plastic is broken. As you can see it's a German box as I'm located in Germany :p Often toy boxes are multilingual, but here everything is in German. This line is called "Zuckersüss-Pony" (Sugarsweet-Pony) or Candy Cane Ponies in English. They were released in 1989 (year 7) and they are scented, so they smell like sweets. And this one after over 20 years still smells like candy ^^
Here you can see the sides of the box showing the Ponies of the line and their German names. They were only four Ponies released in Europe, in the US there were six of them (the four plus 'Lemon Treats' and 'Mint Dreams').
Here is the back of the box showing Ponies from other lines and a little (pointless) story about 'Sugar Apple' accidently making....well... sugar apples. Her German name is 'Äpfelchen' which is just the cute way of saying apple.
A last shot of her in the box. She comes with a yellow comb, apink ribbon and a pink ice cream hairclip.
Now...wasn't this post the nerdiest ever ^^;; ?
