My little Pony G4 - Double packs (Applejack & Lily Blossom and Pinkie Pie & Dewdrop Dazzle)

The are the first (and so far only) G4 Ponies I bought. Sadly in the town I live there is not a single store which carries MLP and I have no idea why. And sellers on ebay and amazon are completely overprized. I ended ordering these from mytoys.de for 5,99€ (each set) because I really, really wanted to see them not only in photos and it was a real good prize.

So here are the sets in their package. Applejack and Lily Blossom in the first set and Dewdrop Dazzle and Pinkie Pie in the second.

 Back.

Applejack and Lily Blossom freed from theit plastic prison! I actually had to order three of the sets because you need to order stuff for 15€ or more. You could not chose which set you wanted and I just hoped I would not get three of the same. The Applejack set I got twice, so I opened it and let the others in their box.
This little bug is so damn cute :)
I have to say that I really love Lily Blossom. Dewdrop Dazzles colors are a bit too bright for my taste
I was surprised how small the G4 Ponies where I thought they were much bigger, the same size than the old Ponies. Here a comparison shot between G4 and G1.
G4 are about the same size as baby G1 Ponies.
I think the eyes part of the G4s seems less detailed because they are flat. I would have prefered if they had added a bit more depth to the eyes because the faces look really cute otherwise. Another thing I prefer on the G1 Ponies is the hair. The G4 Ponies' hair seems a bit of lesser quality and always kind of gets in the way when they stand. What I really like though is that the G4s can move their heads! Very few of the G1s could do this.

The single set prizes of 5,99€ are actually quite good compared to other toys and if they had those in stores here I would get one from time to time.

Flea market haul #11

I really hope that the next time I find less....or I should get more picky.

Well four new Polly Pocket sets from a lady I bought some off before. I really wish she had done a bit of research before. She had so, so, so many sets but put the figures totaly random. So I have four more incomplete sets. The pink ones have really bad yellowing and inside of the big box with the ribbon battery acid had run out. I can fix it but still...

Then I saw a G3 Pony and it was 50cents =D Yay~ my first G3 Pony and it's such a beautifull color. It's.... Velvet Bow from the Winter series (2006). The scraf belongs to her and she originally came with a fitting hat, but I don't mind at all. I also picked up the cute Nici sheep keychain from her everything-is-50cent-box.

I also started to look through boxes with Barbies to see if I find some that still have nice uncut hair. One guy had some nice ones and all where for 50cents. I picked up two that caught my eye.
One is a "Sleeping Beauty Barbie" from 1998. She has a lever on her back so you can open and close her eyes. Her head is out of hard plastic and has a nice shine. But ist cannot be moved. Well..I picked her up because she looked so unusual.
The other one, as I found out, is a California Girl Barbie from 2003. The head mold is the same they still use today I think. The body is the same as the "My Scene" Barbies and I really like them for some reason. They don't have a twist and turn feature (who need that anyway :p ) and instead have nice hips and a nice stomach with bellybottom, great for wearing a bikini or other beach wear. I also like that they can move their legs a bit sideways. Well...I picked her up because I really liked the darker skin and her brown hair with blonde streaks.

Wow...this year I already bought so many toys and it doesn't stop. o___o!!!

Littlest Pet Shop (vintage) - Honey bear

Another "pet" I still have. This time the honey bear from the zoo-line from 1994.

When you push his head he moves his arms up.

Littlest Pet Shop (vintage) - Turtles

I used to own so much Littlest Pet Shop when I was a child. When I got older we sold of most of it, but (luckily!) there are some left-overs that didn't get sold :)

So here is the Turtles set from 1992 by Kenner toys. Aren't they cute?

I love the palm and the background with the moon!

Like all old LPS pets these two have a function. One moves the feet as if it is walkind when moved across the ground and the other one can hide its head.
Somehow the paint for the sand came off and smeared over the blue water parts. That really should not happen...

They don't have much space in there oo!

They are so tiny compared to the new LPS toys!

It's a really, really cute playset and I'm glad I still have it :)

Flea market haul #10

I'll add pictures later.

Today I got:
- My little Pony bedsheat. For a baby blanket or something small like that. I didn't see any hasbro or other copyright though. 1€
-'Lil Miss Magic Jewels' (1992) without anything. She was wearing an Magic Nursery outfit. In the box was a magic nursery boy (?) an another Lil Miss with cut off hair and loose head :/
I still have to clean her some more and wash her hair. 2€
- Strawberry Shortcake Apricot (1980). Without the shoe/socks and without her bunny, but otherwise comeplete. She even has her ribbons :) She too needs some cleaning, but I was really surprised that she still smells like apricot! 0.50€
- My little Pony : Schlummerleins bed along with random useless crap. I asked how much. She said "How much are you willing to pay?". Me: "erm.....50cent??" She: ".....2€!" Me : "erm...you see I already have this bed. I just recognized it and well...what about 1€?" She: "1,50€" Me: "I really don't know...you see if it had some of the other stuff too like the little bear..." She "1,50€!" Me: "hmm....I think I'll pass :/" My mom: "Oh just buy it!"
I'm weak...

Well..pictures follow later!
Edit: Here is the Lil Miss Magic Jewels without her Jewels ^^; She was in bad shape, but I cleaned her up and did her hair. Yay~

Flea market haul #9

Well...not flea market, but thrift store/pawn shop/whatever you call them.

This all cost me me 70cent =D

3 VHS tapes and one book.
VHS tapes used to be sooo expensive and now most people wouldn't take them for free. But of course I had to grab the My little Pony one :P Inside is another episode than shown on the cover but I don't mind. Inside is the first part of "The End of Flutter Valley / Das Ende des Zauberflügeltals" part 1. I have no idea why, but I only owned the second part as child....so I never knew how the story began or ended ^^; At the end of the episode are some MLP commercials...I could watch them forever haha!
Next we have "The Aftermath" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0083526/ ) 4 out of 10??? Seems like I grabbed a winner :p
And the last one is "Hokan der Barbar"( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0087432/ ). At first I found nothing online about this movie because it rather goes by the name "Hakan der Barbar". I guess they wanted the title to be as close as possible to "Conan, the Barbarian" :p It sounds quite interessting. It was filmed in Iceland and is all about Vikings. Yay~
The book is.... a novelization of the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Movie. I wonder if its any good. I really love the movie (and I STILL don't have it on DVD ;__; ).

Well...tomorrow is flea market again *-*

My little Pony G1 - Firefly / Feuerfunke Italy

Since I was born 1986 I don't have many of the older Ponies. Firefly was released 1983, a whole three years before I was born. Already as a child I loved flea markets and while my parents were busy selling stuff I bought every Pony I saw :p
So this is where my Firefly comes from. She already had this mark under her eye and her color always looked so faded. Her hair are also frizzy at the ends, but at least it wasn't cut. I always liked her because I had no other Pony with this pose and with a slightly open mouth. Variety is always good :)

Thanks for looking :)

Flea market haul #8

Today was soooo cold, but there were many, many vendors at the flea market. I only bought one thing that immediately caught my eye. I ended up buying it because the man was nice and I didn't find anything else to buy :p
So here it is : The playset for Cleo de Nile from the Monster High series by Mattel.

Sadly there is some stuff missing...one of the black cats...the box, the little sphinx and all the tiny stuff and jewelery. Well...it was very cheap and still displays nicely so I won't complain. The man also had two littlest petshop (vintage) cats and I asked if I can have them for free :p

I don't even have a Monster High doll...but I solved that problem for the moment. My 'My Scene' Westley likes the set, too ;)

Maybe I should make her an egyptian style dress ^^

My Playstation 2 Collection

I was cleaning the other day and took a chance to take pictures of them lined up...they didn't turn out well, but they do their job.

42 games in total. I was three more that I lend, but never got back (Kingdom Hearts, Devil May Cry 2 and Grandia 2). Save for the japanese Games, they are all PAL versions. I don't have a japanese PS2 and no modded one....otherwise I would own so much more japanese games.
And there is only one game in there that I paid full retail prize. I guess that's the reason why I have to many.

Full list:
Super Bust a Move 2
Gitaroo Man
SingStar 80s
SEGA Megadrive Collection
Outlaw Tennis
Soul Calibur II
Dead or Alive 2
Tekken 5
Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy)
Der Herr der Ringe - DIe zwei Türme (Lord of the Rings - Two Towers)
Prince of Persia - Warrior Within
Onimusha 2
Tenchu - Wrath of Heaven
Project Zero (Fatal Frame)
The Sword of Etheria ( O.Z. - Over Zenith)
Drakengard
Zone of the Enders
Metal Gear Solid 3 - Snake Eater (Steel Box)
X-Men 2 - Wolverine's Revenge
X-Men Legends
The Bard's Tale
Jade Cocoon 2
Legaia 2 - Duel Saga
Makai Kingdom
Ring of Red
Shadow Hearts - Covenant
Unlimited Saga
Final Fantasy X
Star Ocean - Till the End of Time
Breath of Fire - Dragon Quarter
Shin Megami Tensei - Lucifer's Call (Nocturne)
Persona 3 - FES
Shin Mgeami Tensei Devil Summoner - Raidou Kuzunoha vs The Soulless Army
Suikoden Tactics
Suikoden V
Suikoden IV
Gensou Suikoden III (jap.)
Seiken Densetsu 4 (jap., Secret of Mana)
Tales of Abyss (jap.)
Bouncer (jap.)
Tennis no Ouji-sama - Seikyou chiimu wo kessei se yo! (jap.,Prince of Tennis - Build the stongest Team)
Kenka Banchou 2 - Full Throttle (jap.)

My three PS2 Shim Megami Tensei games. I really need to get Persona 4 one day.

Sword of Etheria is the european version of O.Z. (Over Zenith). It was never released in the US. I fell in love with the trailer from the Tokyo Game Show and thought I'd never see that game ever again. And suddenly they had it for 12€ at a super market here in town. I recognized it at first glance despite the different title. It's a basic hack'n slay, but you can do combos with the other 2 characters. I really don't know why I like this game so much. Drakengard is another hack'n slay. With dragons and a very disturbing ending :p

I love Suikoden V! I also really liked the forth Suikoden even though many regard it as the black sheep of the series.

Seiken Densetsu 4... the japanese title for the Secret of Mana series. I love the box art and the refrence to the Snes Secret of Mana.

Breath of Fire needs more love, too. The fifth part is very different from the games before, but I really like the dark atmosphere. X-Men Legends is a pretty neat RPG with many, many, many of the X-Men characters :)

Yay, Gitaroo Man! Sadly I really suck at rhytm games.

Lined up again...it looked so empty so now I added a few PSOne games and other stuff.

Thanks for looking and I hope that made up for all the Pony stuff :)

Flea market haul #7

Oh....I shouldn't have bought the Wii game. There were some boys selling Wii games and quite some people were intrested but were all trying really hard to make them sell for less. So I was curious and asked for the prizes and they were all reasonable. And the boys were nice so I bought New Mario Bros for 17€ and all their Game Boy Games just because they were nice ^^;
Actually the only GB game I was really interested in was the Turtles one. I already have Fall of the Foot Clan and that's the most common one. But the Pokemon knock-off game is quite interessting, too. It's in german...but...you know the german you get when you use babelfish ;p
And the poor Barbie I found in a box full of useless things and got her for 50cent. Just a few days ago I went through my left over Barbie stuff and looked at so many Barbie sites I just could not pas this one.
At the moment I'm desperately trying to find out which Barbie this is. I just know that it should be from somewhere between 1986 and 1998. She has no earings. Her arms are straight and she can't lift them up to the sides.

Edit: After 4 hours of clicking through pictures... It's a Ibiza Barbie from 1991
